NOTICE OF MEETING

OF THE SPECIAL BOARD OF CANVASSERS

       All Sectoral Parties, Organizations or Coalitions Thereof

       Participating in the Party-List System

Pursuant to Section 18 of the Overseas Absentee Voting Law (R.A. 9189) and Section 60 of COMELEC Resolution No. 7740 dated 30 October 2006, NOTICE  is hereby given to all interested that the Special Board of Canvassers (SBOC) shall convene to canvass the votes for Senators and Sectoral Parties, organizations or Coalition thereof participating in the Party-list system in the 14 May 2007 National and Local Elections.

The Board shall meet at 6:00 o'clock, Philippine time, in the evening of May 14, 2007 (6:00 p.m., local time) at the Library of the Philippine Embassy in Beijing to receive the election returns and to immediately canvass those that have already been received (Section 61, COMELEC Resolution No. 7740).
