The Philippine Embassy would like to inform the Filipino Community in Beijing that Overseas Absentee Voting (OAV) Registration has been further extended by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) until 31 October 2006.

Please note that the Embassy would be closed during the week-long Chinese holiday period on 2-6 October 2006.

The continuing registration for purposes of the 14 May 2007 Senatorial and Party List Elections will resume on 9 October 2006.
