The Philippine Embassy would like to inform the Filipino Community in Beijing that Overseas Absentee Voting (OAV) Registration has been extended by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) from 31 August 2006 to 30 September 2006.

The Embassy encourages all qualified overseas Filipinos who have not yet registered to avail of this extension period for purposes of the 14 May 2007 Senatorial and Party List Elections.

Qualified registrants may visit the Embassy from Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Please bring your valid Philippine passports with you.
